Product description

Steel "edge guard" to protect the rope from sharp edges. The BEAL Edge Guard can be connected to a longer chain using mailons and can thus be used, for example, in more rugged rocky terrain during rescue. the edge belay is anchored with the attached turnips. For better rope routing, the Edge Guard uses, in addition to the raised sidewalls, also an overband preventing the rope from traveling off the edge. Another advantage of the Edge Guard is the low friction, which is undesirable when using a pulley.
