CAMP Skimo Pure Nanotech crampons are the lightest steel crampons in the world suitable for ski mountaineering and racing. The crampons are made with Sandvik® Nanoflex nanotechnology, based on a special steel that is 70% stronger and 20% harder than traditional steels, which allows the use of a thinner cross-section (1.8 mm), making the crampons not only lighter, but also stronger and more durable. The advantage of the Skimo Pure Nanotech cats is the central connecting bridge, which has holes drilled asynchronously in two rows and thus allows more precise adjustment of the cat size. Another feature is the ability to adjust the size to smaller shoes by simply sliding the connecting bridge to the heel edge. The crampons can thus be easily adjusted to shoe sizes 210-330 mm (EU size 36-46). Skimo Pure Nanotech crampons are ready for shoes with a front trapeze (automatic crampons), which can also be turned upside down to adapt the crampons to shoes that have a lower front trapeze than standard shoes. This sophisticated front shoe fastening is called the T-STOP system. The crampons can also be optimized for shoes without a trapeze, just purchase the CAMP Skimo Semi-Automatic Toe Bail (2589). The Skimo Pure Nanotech crampons also allow you to replace the center linking bridge with the CAMP Skimo Dyneema Linking Strap (2596), further reducing both the weight of the crampons and the pack size.
