Kohla Skin impregnation - green line
All KOHLA riser strips are impregnated at the factory, which improves their properties and also prevents hairs from sucking moisture from the snow. The snow gets packed on the wet hairs, which makes the climb unnecessarily difficult. However, the factory impregnation wears off with frequent use. With KOHLA impregnation spray you can easily renew this impregnation layer. This impregnating spray is free of hydrocarbons and environmentally friendly.
Easy application
At the beginning of each season it is a good idea to check the condition of the belts - whether the tips and ends are in good condition, whether the adhesive is holding well and whether the impregnation is working.
The impregnation status can be determined simply by pouring water on the strips. After a good impregnation, the water runs off the surface in drops and does not leave wet parts. Otherwise, the impregnation must be renewed with KOHLA impregnation spray "Green line" 250 ml.
Impregnation procedure:
- It is advisable to impregnate the belts at home at least 1 day before the hike.
- Clean the rising layer of the belts and glue the belt to the ski.
- From a distance of 20-30 cm, spray KOHLA Impregnating Spray evenly on the strips. It is a good idea to turn the ski heel upwards so that the impregnation flows better into the pile.
- Allow to dry for 24 hours.
- To increase the effect, you can heat the strips with a hairdryer after the impregnation has dried (up to a maximum temperature of 60 °C).
- If you need to impregnate the belts during the hike, you can use KOHLA impregnating wax. The wax is small and handy to have in your backpack when hiking for a few days.
