The I'D EVAC self-locking lowering device is primarily designed for lowering from a mooring point. It has an ergonomic handle that allows comfortable control of the folding. The integrated anti-panic function and the rope misplacement safety limit the risk of accidents due to user error. The AUTO-LOCK system allows the rope to be locked without the need to manipulate the handle or tie a locking knot. Once locked, the rope can be lifted up without having to manipulate the handle. The safety latch allows the rope to be installed even when the device is attached at the anchor point. The I'D EVAC is compatible with rope diameters from 10 to 11.5 mm and allows the handling of loads up to 250 kg.

• The handle automatically returns to the storage position when the rope is removed from the device, reducing the risk of accidental entanglement when transporting the device on the harness

Versatility:

• Once locked, the rope can be lifted up without manipulating the handle, e.g. to form a pulley for pulling up or short rope ascents
• The movable sidewall can be secured with a screw, allowing the I'D S to be integrated into evacuation kits
• Integrated open additional brake will increase friction depending on the weight of the load or the diameter of the rope
• Stainless steel friction segment increases the resistance of the rope friction zone
• Ability to handle heavy loads up to 250 kg
