The Petzl ASAP'SORBER fall arrester can only be used with the ASAP or ASAP LOCK moving fall arrester. It allows the user to work at a greater distance from the rope, thus protecting it during certain work phases. The tear strap fall damper is housed in a sleeve that opens at each end, protecting the damper against abrasion and allowing for regular inspection. The shock absorber is manufactured in two lengths to ensure the best balance between distance from the rope and reduced fall length.

Can only be used with ASAP or ASAP LOCK moving fall arresters

- protect the rope from sharp tools or contact with sharp objects
Absorbs impact energy in the event of a fall:

• Gradual tearing of safety seams absorbs the impact energy acting on the user
• For users who weigh between 50 and 130 kg
• Durable housing with opening system at each end, protects the silencer from abrasion or dirt and allows regular inspection
• The ends are equipped with STRING protectors that keep the carabiners in the correct position and protect the strap from chafing
• Available in two lengths to ensure the best balance between distance from the rope and reduction in fall length
