Product description

The Fenix LR35R rechargeable flashlight delivers extreme luminous flux of up to 10,000 lumens (ANSI) and a wide continuous cone with a range of up to 500 meters. The luminaire is powered by two high-current Li-ion batteries type 21700 (included), which can be charged directly in the luminaire via a modern USB-C connector. The extraordinary luminous flux was achieved by using six high-performance Luminus SST-40 LEDs. There are five levels of illumination and a blinding strobe flash mode for emergency situations. Thanks to the side-by-side arrangement of the batteries, the flashlight is surprisingly short and fits perfectly in the hand. Operation is convenient and quick with one side button. It can also be used to lock the lantern for transport in luggage. The flashlight is particularly suitable for moving in difficult terrain, search operations, surveillance, object protection and is great for anywhere you need to strongly illuminate large areas.

All luminaire parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofness, range, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Using the Fenix LR35R

The lamp can be switched on or off by holding the side button for half a second. The light modes can then be cycled from lowest to highest with short button presses. Holding the button for 1.2 seconds activates the strobe, from which you can return to the originally selected mode by briefly pressing the button. The control button can be locked to prevent spontaneous switching on, e.g. when transporting in luggage - press the control button twice quickly (within 0.5 seconds). To unlock, press the button twice quickly again. Unintentional switching on can also be prevented by loosening the tightening of the lamp body.

Intelligent overheating protection - when the temperature exceeds 65°C, the luminaire automatically reduces the power gradually, when it cools down below 65°C, it automatically increases the power again.

Charging - flip off the charging connector cover on the side of the lamp and plug the included cable into the USB-C connector, plug the other end of the cable into a computer, USB mains adapter, USB car adapter or power bank (not included). During charging, the LED in the button flashes red and turns green when fully charged. Charging fully discharged batteries takes about 3.5 hours using a 3A power supply. During charging, the light can only be used in the lowest mode. Battery capacity indication - when the lamp is switched on, the indicator in the button lights up for 3 seconds. If the indicator LED is green, the batteries are more than 85% charged. Green flashing indicates 50-85% capacity. If they are red, they are 25-50% charged. Red flashing indicates that less than 25% of capacity remains.

Low battery warning - the luminaire automatically switches to the lowest power mode and the indicator LED in the button starts flashing red.

Notice

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the luminaire yourself, this will violate the warranty.
• Never use different dead batteries or batteries with different capacities.
• Use only high-current Li-ion batteries type 21700 with protective electronics, otherwise the flashlight may not work properly.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings also need to be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the luminaire will be properly protected against water.
• If the lamp is flickering, not switching to higher power modes, or not lighting up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • Batteries are almost dead - replace or recharge them.
  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The body of the lamp is loose - add lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten.
