Fenix The PD36 TAC is a very powerful tactical flashlight with easy operation and quick strobe activation. It is equipped with the latest LUMINUS SST-70 LED and delivers up to 3000 lumens (ANSI) and a range of up to 274 meters. Included is a rechargeable 21700 Li-ion battery with a 5000 mAh capacity that charges via its own USB-C connector. The luminaire is equipped with a rotary control knob, which can be used to lock the control or select one of the two modes of use. In tactical mode, the flashlight can be switched to 2000 lumens or strobe mode. In duty mode, you can choose between five light modes and a strobe. In the lowest mode , it can shine for up to 160 hours. The precision and waterproof design makes this tactical light primarily suited for harsh outdoor conditions. Great for security forces, search and rescue operations and hunting.

All luminaire parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofness, range, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Use

The rotary control at the end of the luminaire can be used to select between light modes, which have different controls.

Tactical mode (rotary control in left position): press the tactical button at the end of the lamp to switch on, hold the button for immediate activation. The lamp is always activated in the highest mode. To activate the strobe, hold the button down for 0.8 seconds (also works in the off state). By holding, the luminaire returns to its original mode. Press the button to switch off the luminaire.

Service mode (rotary control in right position): to switch on, press the tactical button at the end of the lamp, hold the button for immediate activation. The lamp remembers the last selected mode (except strobe). The light modes (except strobe) can be cycled at the touch of a button. To activate the strobe, hold down the button for 0.8 seconds (even from the off state). Pressing it returns the lamp to its original mode. Press the button to switch off the luminaire.

The control button can be locked in the middle position of the rotary control. If the luminaire is switched off, it cannot be switched on. If it is on, the control will lock in the currently set light mode and the control button will not respond. To reactivate the tactical button, the controller must be turned to tactical or duty mode.

When using the wired switch, only the highest constant light mode is available.

Intelligent overheating protection - ifthe temperature of the luminaire exceeds 60 °C, then it will reduce the power in successive steps until the temperature drops below a safe limit. After cooling below 60 °C, full power can be used again.

Low battery warning - the lamp automatically switches to the lowest power level and flashes 3 times every five minutes.

Charging - remove the battery from the flashlight and plug it into the side USB-C connector using the USB cable. During charging, the indicator light in the plus pole of the battery glows red. When it reaches full charge, it glows blue or green. The charging current of the built-in USB-C connector are 2A. Charging time is approximately 3-4 hours.

Notice

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the luminaire head yourself, this will violate the warranty.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings also need to be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the luminaire will be properly protected against water.
• If the lamp flickers, does not switch to higher power modes or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is dead, charge it.
  • The contacts inside the lamp are clogged - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The rear of the lamp is loose, tighten it.
