Product description

The powerful Fenix TK25 Red tactical flashlight offers a peak lumen output of up to 1000 ANSIlumens ofwhite light, plus two red LEDs with up to 310 lumens of output and range
200 meters. The very solid and waterproof design and double-layer body construction predestines this tactical flashlight for harsh outdoor conditions, for professionals, armed forces and hunting. The Fenix TK25 Red luminaire uses a dual tactical switch that allows for faster and more reliable control in crisis situations. For example, it can easily be switched directly into strobe mode. The luminaire is powered by digitally controlled constant current to guarantee constant light output even when the voltage in the batteries is reduced (when they are slowly discharged).

Fenix The TK25 Red has a total of five white light modes with up to 110 hours and three red light modes.

Switching between white and red light mode is very easy, just turn the head of the lamp 90°. However, due to the magnetic sensors in the flashlight head, it cannot be used with a magnetic mount on the weapon, which interferes with its proper function.

All luminaire parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofness, range, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Parameters of the LED luminaire Fenix TK25 RED:

• Two white powerful Cree XP-G2 S3 LEDs with a lifetime of 50000 hours and two red Cree XP-E2 LEDs are used.

• Five white light output modes: 1000 lumens (2 hours) -> 300 lumens (5.3 hours) -> 100 lumens (22.3 hours) -> 15 lumens (110 hours) -> strobe (strobe flicker).

• Three red light modes: 310 lumens / 5500mW (2.5 hours) -> 100 lumens (9.3 hours) -> 10 lumens (100 hours)

• Double aluminium reflector for a perfect light cone with a range of up to 225 metres (12650 cd) for white light and 200 metres (10000 cd) for red light.

• Two 3V CR123A lithium batteries or one rechargeable high-capacity 18650 Li-ion battery can be used for power.

• Endurance times are measured with a rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 3500 mAh.

• Electronics with digital constant power control and protection against reverse battery insertion.

• Two spring system - high resistance of the flashlight when used on the gun.

• Intelligent overheating protection, operation in maximum mode is limited only by the temperature of the luminaire, not by time.

Control

To switch on, press the larger button located at the end of the luminaire, for instant activation press the button gently. Press the secondary toggle button to switch between power modes at any time during operation. To switch to flash mode when the flashlight is on, hold down the switch button for about 1 second. Press and hold the toggle button to switch the lamp directly into strobe mode. Switch between white and red light modes by turning the lamp head 90°. You can switch between the red modes again with the second smaller button.

Intelligent overheating protection - if the temperature of the luminaire rises above 65°C, it will automatically start to reduce the power in gradual steps of 5% every 30 seconds until its temperature is stabilized. As soon as the temperature of the luminaire drops below 65 °C, the output is automatically increased to the original level again. Thus, operation at the highest power mode is not limited by time, but only by temperature.

Low battery warning - the lamp automatically switches to the lowest mode and flashes 3 times every five minutes.

Notice

• Only use high-quality 3V CR123A batteries and 18650 Li-ion batteries to avoid damaging the lamp, for example due to battery leakage.

• Insert the batteries with the positive terminal towards the lamp head

• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the luminaire will be properly protected against water.

• If the lamp is flickering, not switching to higher power modes or not lighting up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

  • The batteries are almost dead - replace them.

  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

  • The head, body or rear of the lamp is loose, tighten it.
