Product description

Professional rechargeable luminaire Fenix WF30RE with ATEX/IECex certification for use in explosive atmospheres. The flashlight is powered by a specially modified ARB-L21-2600Ex Li-ion battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh and provides a light output of up to 280 lumens with a range of 170 meters. The battery is recharged directly in the luminaire using a special charger with safety circuits. The body of the lamp is made of aerospace aluminium with high durability and impact resistance. The luminaire is designed especially for firefighters and rescue workers, it is also suitable as a working luminaire for industrial plants with the possibility of explosive dusts and gases. These include chemical plants, refineries, textile mills, paper mills, mills, metallurgical plants, power plants and other plants.

Parameters of working ATEX luminaire WF30RE:

• It uses powerful Cree XP-G2 LED with neutral light tint and a lifetime of 50000 hours.
• Four power modes: 280 lumens ( 6.83 hours) -> 120 lumens (15.66 hours) -> 30 lumens (120 hours) -> strobe (280 lumens).
• It uses a special Li-ion battery Fenix ARB-L21-2600Ex with a capacity of 2600 mAh. This is a modified 18650 type certified for explosive environments.
• The battery is recharged directly in the lantern using a special rechargeable adapter, it takes 5.5 hours to charge a fully discharged battery.
• The electronics are equipped with a protection function against too deep discharge of the batteries, when the voltage drops below a certain threshold, it automatically switches to a lower power mode.
• The lamp has a memory and can be switched on in the last set mode (not valid for strobe).

Control:

The torch is switched on and off by holding the button on the side for 0.5 seconds. The light modes can be changed with short button presses in a low-medium-high cycle.

To activate the strobe, turn the lamp on and then hold the button for 1.2 seconds. A short press of the button then switches the strobe off again and the luminaire returns to the last used mode.

Battery charge indication - press the flashlight button (with the flashlight off). If the indicator LED is green, the battery is more than 85% charged. Green flashing indicates 50-85% capacity. If it glows red, it is 25-50% charged. Red flashing indicates that less than 25% of the battery capacity remains.

Low battery warning - the flashlight automatically switches to the lowest mode and flashes 3 times every ten minutes.

Charging - plug the charger into the mains adaptor and then into a power socket. The indicator light on the charger alternately flashes red and green to indicate that it can be connected to the lamp. Remove the rubber cap on the flashlight and plug the charger into the charging connector. The indicator light on the charger glows red during charging, after a full charge it glows green. After charging the lamp, seal the charging connector thoroughly again using the rubber cap. Never charge a flashlight in an explosive environment.

To replace the battery, unscrew the end cap of the lamp using an 8 mm Allen key. Never replace the battery in an explosive atmosphere.

Notice

• Perform all servicing, charging and battery replacement outside explosive atmospheres!
• Use only a manufacturer-certified Fenix ARB-L21-2600Ex battery.
• If the sealing rubber ring on the thread of the lamp cap becomes damaged, replace it with a spare from the lamp pack.
• If the lamp flickers, does not switch to higher power modes or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is dead, charge or replace it.
