The second generation Fenix LD02 is extremely small but powerful - offering up to 70 lumens (ANSI). It is equipped with a powerful Cree XQ-E LED with a warmer shade of light and a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of 90, thanks to which it renders colors perfectly. In addition, it is equipped with an ultraviolet LED with a wavelength of 365 nm. Ultraviolet light (abbreviation UV from the English ultraviolet) allows a quick check of the authenticity of documents, banknotes, credit cards, but it is also used to check the purity or quality of the material or for forensic analysis during the examination of the crime scene. The flashlight is not much bigger than the micro button battery (AAA battery) that powers it. The head and the end of the lamp are made of stainless steel.

The LD02 has three different light levels and one UV mode, allowing users to choose the right compromise between light intensity and operating time. Fenix The LD02 uses commonly available micro-charge batteries and its almost negligible size and weight make it ideal for Everyday Carry (EDC). • It uses a powerful Cree XQ-E HI Warm LED with a warmer light shade, CRI index of 90 and a lifetime of 50000 hours and a UV LED with a wavelength of 365 nm.

• Four power levels:

  • measured with NiMH battery: 70 lumens (0.75 hours) -> 25 lumens (2.9 hours) -> 1 lumen (45 hours) -> UV 200 mW (3 hours).

  • measured with alkaline battery: 70 lumens (0.65 hours) -> 25 lumens (2.65 hours) -> 1 lumen (75 hours) -> UV 200 mW (4 hours).

• It uses only one micro-rechargeable battery (AAA type - alkaline, lithium or rechargeable NiMH). These batteries are cheap and widely available.

• Energizer L92 lithium micro-cell batteries provide the longest battery life (especially suitable for extreme temperature conditions)

• Endurance times are measured with a 750mAh rechargeable NiMH battery.

• Supported battery voltage 0.9-1.7V.

• Dimensions 9,2 cm (length) x 1,35 cm (diameter).

Using a flashlight Fenix LD02

To switch on, press the switch located at the end of the luminaire. When the lamp is switched on, you can change the power modes at any time at the touch of a button (they switch cyclically: low - medium - high - UV).

Overheat protection - after 3 minutes of operation at the highest power, the luminaire switches to the second mode.

Notice

• Do not disassemble the sealed part in the lamp head yourself, this will breach the warranty.

• Use only high-quality micro-charge batteries to avoid damage to the luminaire, for example due to battery leakage.

• Remove the batteries from the lamp if it will not be used for a long time or if the battery is already dead.

• Insert the battery with the positive terminal towards the lamp head.

• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings also need to be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the luminaire will be properly protected against water.

• If the lamp flickers or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

  • The batteries are almost dead - replace them.

  • The lamp head is loose, tighten it.

  • The contacts inside the luminaire are clogged - clean them with a cloth dipped in alcohol.
