Brand Diamir is named after the southwest wing of the Himalayan mountains Nanga Parbat Diamir. Diamir bindings under the brand are manufactured in Switzerland Fritschi Swiss factory, which was founded in 1960 by Albert Fritch as a studio for the production of devices and prototypes.
