Petzl Paso Guide 7,7 mm 70m

The thin and light half rope PASO GUIDE 7,7 mm is designed for intensive use in technical mountaineering and ice climbing. The UIAA GUIDE DRY water repellent finish provides excellent water resistance and is suitable for everyday use in extreme conditions. Its excellent grip and great maneuverability make it easy to handle.

Thin and light rope for technical mountaineering and ice climbing:

• Compact thanks to small diameter of 7.7 mm
• Light weight 40 g/m
• Smooth surface due to braid construction reduces rope resistance and improves the quality of rope water repellency
• One or both strands can be clipped simultaneously depending on the ascent terrain or rope line

Perfect for technical mountaineering and ice climbing:

• UIAA GUIDE DRY: water repellent impregnation allows users to keep the rope dry every day regardless of conditions. Meets the requirements of the UIAA standard water repellency test (less than 2% water absorption)
• UIAA GUIDE DRY prolongs rope life
• UltraSonic Finish: the core and jacket are ultrasonically bonded together at the ends, providing greater durability and preventing frayed ends

Convenience:

• Centre marking to facilitate manoeuvres
• EverFlex treatment: a specific heat treatment stabilizes the core strands and improves consistency. Provides excellent grip and consistent handling over time
• ClimbReady Coil: the rope is factory coiled so that it can be used immediately for climbing. Helps the user avoid initial unwinding errors and increases lifetime
