Fenix HM61R Amber V2.0

Product description

Headlamp Fenix HM61R Amber V2.0 is the ideal companion for a variety of sports activities, trips to the outdoors and home and work. The practicality of the headlamp is enhanced by the ability to remove the light from the head holder and use it as a pocket or work lamp. In addition, the headlamp is equipped with a steel detachable buckle, so you can easily attach it to your pocket or strap.

The new generation Fenix HM61R Amber V2.0 rechargeable headlamp offers up to 1600 lumens (ANSI) of neutral white light (4500K) with a range of up to 162 meters. It is also equipped with red LED Everlights. It is powered by one rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 3400 mAh, which is recharged directly in the lamp via a magnetic connector, in case of emergency it is also possible to use two disposable CR123A lithium batteries for power supply. The battery also has a built-in USB-C connector, so it can be easily charged outside the headlamp without a magnetic cable. An indicator LED is built into the control button so you'll always know when to recharge the battery. The end of the lamp is magnetic, so it can be easily attached to anything iron. The HM61R Amber V2.0 has eight different lighting modes, allowing you to choose between high power and long life (up to 400 hours). The luminaire is powered by digitally controlled constant current to guarantee constant light output even when the voltage in the batteries is reduced (when they are slowly discharged).

The all-metal construction ensures high durability, optimal cooling and is also fully waterproof according to IP68 standard up to a depth of 2 meters underwater. The practicality of the headlamp is enhanced by the ability to remove the light from the head holder and use it as a pocket or work lamp. In addition, the headlamp is equipped with a steel detachable buckle, so you can easily attach it to your pocket or strap.

- It is possible to buy a set of black straps AFH-02 without reflective elements. Suitable for hunting, military or police, for example.
- The headlamp can also be purchased with USB mains or car adapters, USB-C cable, Fenix APB-20 case, Fenix APB-30 large case, twofish bikeblock holders, lockblocks or a holder for attaching to bicycle handlebars.
- For easy attachment to the helmet, an adhesive mount Fenix ALG-03 or an NVG mount Fenix ALG-04 can be purchased.

Use
- There may be a black insulating cap on the battery inside the luminaire at the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use.
- The off headlamp is switched on to the last used white light mode (except for the highest white light mode of 1600 lumens) by holding the button for 0.5 seconds.
- The off headlamp is switched to the last used red light mode by pressing the button twice quickly.
- The headlamp is switched off by holding the button for 0.5 seconds.
- When the headlamp is switched on, the power modes can be switched cyclically by short presses of the button in the sequence 5 - 50 - 150 - 400 - 1600 lumens (when switched on in white light) or red 1 lumen - red 10 lumens - red flashing (when switched on in red light). The luminaire has a memory and always switches on in the last set mode (applies to both white and red light, except for the highest white light mode of 1600 lumens).
- Switching between colours: when the headlamp is switched on, it is possible to switch between white and red light by holding the side button for 1.2 seconds.
- Overheating protection: a large amount of heat accumulates when the luminaire is used for long periods of time on high power modes. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 65°C or higher, it will automatically reduce power to lower the temperature. When the temperature drops below 65 °C, it then allows the user to select the high modes again.
- Battery charge indication: when the headlamp is switched off, one short press of the button turns on the battery charge indication for 3 seconds, which is displayed by a colored backlighting of the button:

Constant Green: 100% - 85%
Green flicker: 85% - 50%
Constant Red: 50% - 25%
Red flicker: 25% or less (recharge the headlamp as soon as possible)
The indication is only active with a rechargeable Li-ion 18650 battery.

- Charging: plug the charging cable into the USB connector of your computer, USB mains adapter or car. Attach the cable to the charging plate on the headlamp, it attaches itself with magnets. During charging, the indicator light in the button glows red, when charging is complete it glows green. All red light modes and all but the highest white light mode can be used while charging. The charging time will be extended accordingly. Charging a fully discharged battery Fenix ARB-L18-3400U V2.0 takes approximately 4 hours.

- Low battery alert: If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will automatically switch to lower power modes. If this occurs at LOW power, the battery charge indicator will flash to remind you to recharge or replace the battery in a timely manner. Note: This function is only active with a rechargeable Li-ion 18650 battery.

- Lock the headlamp against unwanted switching on: when the headlamp is switched off, press and hold the side switch for 3 seconds, the lamp will flash four times in red mode to indicate the locked state. Unlock: when the headlamp is locked, press the switch for 3 seconds, the flashlight flashes red four times and the Eco white light mode is activated. If the headlamp is locked, it will flash four times when the switches are clicked or pressed briefly to indicate the locked state. Unintentional switching on in the luggage can also be prevented by loosening the battery cap of the headlamp by a quarter turn, this breaks the electrical contact and the headlamp cannot be switched on.

notice
- Do not disassemble the sealed part in the lamp head yourself, this will breach the warranty.
- If using a disposable CR123A battery, do not attempt to charge it in the lamp.
- If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings also need to be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the luminaire will be properly protected against water.
- If the lamp is flickering, not switching to higher power modes, or not lighting up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is almost dead - charge it or replace it.
- The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
- The rear of the lamp is loose - tighten it.
- Five years warranty on the lamp, two years warranty on the battery.
