The Petzl ERGONOMIC is designed for extreme ice and drytooling. The sharp incline of the handle is ideal for long hangs and increases efficiency during bends. The double handle offers more grip options and stable hand changes. On an artificial wall, on rock or ice, the DRY spike optimizes use in an inverted position for prying, and the weights make it easier to set the spikes in the cracks. Thanks to the minimalist hammer, the head is protected and allows the hammering of the bones. The head has a modular design and can be adjusted to the required parameters.

Comfortable handle, designed for highly technical climbing:

-more grip options and stable hand change thanks to the double handle (higher and lower)
-lower handle has a sharp angle for greater comfort when hanging and greater efficiency in extremely difficult sections - the shape allows for an open-hand grip, reducing fatigue and optimising rest
-the taller handle is crimped and made of two materials, offering excellent grip and insulation against the cold
-handle made with hydroform technology for optimum grip in the middle

-perfect shape and balance of the pick provide exceptional swing
-facilitates hooking thanks to the curve under the head
-dRY tip is bevelled at the tip (3.3 mm) and universal in all terrains: rock, snow and ice, 4 mm thickness makes it more resistant to torsion, serrated back stabilizes the axe
-mASSELOTTE weights improve inertia and swing
-the shape of the weight is optimised for inserting spikes into cracks

-fully modular head design allows to customize the technical elements of the pick
-compatible with accessories Petzl: ICE, PUR'ICE, PUR'DRY, PANNE, MARTEAU spikes and hammer
-supplied with MINI MARTEAU mini hammer, which protects the head and allows hammering of the bones
-without accessories the axe is lighter for drytooling (only 550 g)
gRIPREST ERGONOMIC o-hook is shaped and adjustable in three positions to fit all palm types, even in gloves, the missing lower tip ensures safety if the pick slips out of the jam
