Product description

The Petzl Summit was designed for the modern concept of classic mountaineering. It is the result of many years of experience in both the production of chicane and the sport itself and brings a fresh wind of innovation to this category of chicane. The curved handle provides the necessary lightness when climbing in ice, while the flatter bottom makes it easier to use in snow. The lightweight forged steel head of the ice axe ensures maximum efficiency. The aluminium handle is equipped with a rubber sheath that improves grip and insulates thermally. The tip of the tip is thin (3.5 mm) to make it easier to penetrate the ice but widens in the middle (to 8 mm) for use in snow.


It comes in three lengths.
