Fenix 18650 3400 mAh USB Li-ion

Rechargeable battery Fenix 18650 3400 mAh with its own charging USB-C connector (ARB-L18-3400U V2.0). It can be charged by plugging a cable into the USB-C connector (e.g. from a computer or mobile phone charger) or in a charger that can hold 72-millimeter Li-ion batteries. Li-ion rechargeable batteries are characterized by very high capacity, do not suffer from memory effect or self-discharge.

Note that this battery is about 72 millimeters long due to the added USB-C charging connector, so it is significantly longer than a regular 18650 Li-ion battery. So it only fits some flashlights, headlamps and chargers. We have verified compatibility in these lights and headlamps Fenix: Fenix PD35 V3. 0 , Fenix E28R, Fenix LD 30 , Fenix TK11 TAC , Fenix TK35 UE V2.0 (5000 lumens), Fenix CL26R, Fenix CL30R, Fenix HM61R, Fenix HM61R V2 . 0 .

Battery protection Fenix consists of internal safety mechanisms and protective electronics. The added electronic circuits prevent overcharging of the cell, its over-discharge and also against short circuit or too high current draw. If the battery electronics evaluate that the limit values have been reached, it will safely disconnect the cell.

The internal protection consists of a separator, overheating protection (PTC thermal protection) and a special explosion-proof valve. When the gas pressure in the cell exceeds a certain threshold, the internal separator separates the electrodes inside the battery and thus de-facto interrupts the exothermic reaction and the explosion-proof valve releases the gas overpressure outside the battery. Thanks to the combination of electronic and mechanical (temperature and pressure) protection, the Fenix battery is one of the safest Li-ion batteries available.
