Down jackets, sleeping bags and products with synthetic insulation require different care than regular textiles. Conventional detergents can cause the insulation to clump, lose volume and gradually reduce its insulating properties. TOKO Eco Care Down Wash helps clean the insulation gently, loosen individual fibers and preserve its warmth, loft and long-term durability.

When you will appreciate it most:

1. When your jacket or sleeping bag is losing volume – compressed insulation provides less warmth and reduces comfort during use.

How to use:

• Fasten all zippers and hook-and-loop fasteners before washing.

• Turn the garment or product inside out.

• Do not overload the washing machine so the insulation has enough space.

• Use approximately 1 capful of detergent (according to the instructions on the packaging).

• Select a gentle cycle with a low temperature and low spin speed.

How to dry:

• Ideally, tumble dry at a low temperature.

• Add 2–3 tennis balls to help restore the loft of the insulation.

• If you do not have a dryer, dry the item flat and shake the insulation regularly.

Tip for even better results: after washing, we recommend restoring the water-repellent treatment with an impregnation product to help protect the outer material from moisture and dirt.
