The Petzl Spatha knife is designed specifically for mountaineers. The blade profile allows easy cutting of ropes and loops. It has a hole for a carabiner to attach the knife to the bandage. The textured plastic wheel is used to open and close the knife in gloves, you can wipe it with one hand. It has a safety against accidental closing.
