Hiking shoes Garmont Ascent GTX - vallarta blue/yellow is designed for those who are looking for a versatile shoe for a very wide range of sports activities from climbing to via ferrata. One of the main prerequisites for their selection is high rigidity and stability while maintaining high durability and at the same time keeping an acceptable weight. The shoe is conceived in accordance with the A.D.D. technology typical of Garmont, where the design and functionality of the construction is based on the anatomy of the human foot.

The upper is a combination of premium 1.8mm thick Perwanger suede leather combined with highly abrasion resistant Cordura synthetic fabric placed in areas where it adds a higher level of flexibility to the overall construction of the upper. Gore-Tex membrane ensuring complete waterproofness.

The Gore-Tex membrane ensures that the boots will not get waterlogged even in bad conditions, the rubber strips on the toe and heel protect the upper part and increase its durability. The shoes have lacing to the toe, which increases stability and allows greater adaptability to different types of feet.

The removable Frame flex mid insole provides both stability and comfort on longer hikes with a heavy pack. This is helped by the Vibram Nepal outsole, which emphasises the heel for better braking effect on long descents. The boots also have a heel loop for easier entry into the boot and a PU heel stabilizer allowing compatibility with semi-automatic crampons.
