Petzl Arial 9,5 mm 80m

The light and durable ARIAL 9.5 mm single rope is the only rope designed for climbing and mountaineering. Its Duratec Dry treatment gives it maximum durability and performance in all conditions. The thicker braid is ideal for climbers who repeatedly try moves in their project. Its excellent grip and great pliability make it easy to handle.

Durable rope suitable for project work:

Provides excellent abrasion resistance

• Balanced ratio of diameter and durability
• Duratec Dry treatment prolongs rope life
• UltraSonic Finish: the core and sheath are bonded together at the ends of the rope using an ultrasonic process. Provides greater durability and prevents fraying of the ends

Convenience:

Flexible rope facilitates rope feeding with belay brakes

• EverFlex treatment: a specific heat treatment stabilizes the core strands and improves consistency. Provides excellent grip and consistent control over time
• Duratec Dry treatment for use in rock, mix, snow or ice environments: the water-repellent treatment makes the rope more resistant to water, dirt and abrasion. Handling, adhesion and other properties are maintained for longer periods of time in cold and wet conditions
• ClimbReady Coil: a special coil of rope that is ready for immediate use. The user does not have to untangle the rope and it does not get tangled and knotted during unwinding

Easier handling:

• Centre marking facilitates rope handling during manoeuvres
