Petzl Contact Wall 9,8 mm 30m

Simple dynamic rope CONTACT WALL 9,8 mm is designed for climbing on artificial climbing walls. With lengths suitable for use on the climbing wall, 30 and 40 metres, you'll save your long rope for the rocks while lightening the weight and bulk of your climbing pack. It provides an excellent ratio of light weight and durability for greater versatility. Excellent grip and great compliance make it easy to handle and use in belay brakes. The thickness of the braid also contributes to its durability.

User comfort:

• Specific lengths suitable for wall climbing allow users to save their rock climbing ropes
• Flexible rope facilitates rope feeding in belay brakes
• EverFlex treatment: a specific heat treatment stabilizes the core strands and improves consistency. Provides excellent grip and consistent control over time
• ClimbReady Coil: a special coil of rope that is ready for immediate use. The user does not have to untangle the rope and it does not get tangled and knotted during unwinding

The grip makes handling easier:

• Excellent weight, diameter and grip ratio
• 40-strand design for better control
• Centre marking facilitates rope handling when manoeuvring

Durability:

• Strong braid provides excellent abrasion resistance
• UltraSonic Finish: the core and sheath are bonded together at the ends of the rope using an ultrasonic process. Provides greater durability and prevents fraying of the ends
