The innovative CAMP Ares Mips safety helmet is a clear step forward for safety at the highest possible level in the event of a head injury when working at height. The Ares Mips helmet was created in collaboration between CAMP and the Swedish safety company MIPS. The Mips safety system is based on low-friction layer technology, which is located between the head and the helmet. In certain angled impacts, the Mips Safety System allows multi-directional movement of 10-15 mm, reducing rotational forces transmitted to the head. Advanced computer simulations of the brain performed at Mips headquarters have shown that the Mips safety system reduces the level of brain load in impacts at various angles of impact that have been tested. Brain strain is one of the main factors in the symptoms of concussion and brain injury. The Mips Safety system is widely used in motorsports and downhill racing. In addition to its many safety features, the CAMP Ares Mips helmet is also very comfortable and equipped with all the features for maximum functionality.
