The RIDE 24 SWITCH is a medium-sized, versatile freeride airbag backpack from ARVA. It was designed in collaboration with Leo Slemett, a professional freeride rider.

It uses a modular SWITCH back design with easy front-end replacement. In this way, airbags of different volumes and purposes can be easily obtained. The proven Arva REACTOR 2.0 dual airbag system is characterised by its reliability, easy handling, robust design and low weight.

The SWITCH back features a compact contoured, non-absorbent rear padded panel and a flat airbag storage compartment. The 3D-FIT back design allows adjustment of the S, M, L size (back range approx. 40 - 50 cm). The activation strap can be placed on the left or right shoulder strap. The chest strap contains an emergency whistle. Of course there is a lower safety strap.

The pack includes a large front pocket for avalanche gear and a top pocket for ski goggles and valuables. Access to the main compartment of the backpack is by means of a connecting zipper across the back.

Skis can be attached diagonally or on the sides of the A-shaped backpack and 2 ice axes can be attached to the front panel.

The helmet mount is already integrated in the front panel design, there is the possibility to insert most hydration systems.

The sternum strap includes an emergency whistle, the hip belt has one large zippered pocket and one elastic open pocket for quick access. There is a thigh pocket on the left side of the waistband.

The backpack is made mainly of recycled materials: recycled polyamide 300D and recycled polyester 150D.

The total weight of the backpack with the REACTOR system without the cassette is 1 910 g.
