Helmet Mammut Wall Rider Mips - white is the first climbing helmet with patented MIPS technology. When the Wall Rider MIPS helmet is subjected to an oblique impact, the outer shell slides down the inner layer of the helmet. This means that some of the rotational forces acting on the head during impact are redirected and absorbed rather than being transmitted to the brain, reducing the risk of damage to the brain. The MIPS design combines a cushioned EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) core with a semi-hard shell for maximum safety. The helmet is also very lightweight, weighing only 225 g.
