The Coleman Meadowood™ 4L is a spacious family tent with a tunnel design, featuring patented Blackout Bedroom® technology that ensures a peaceful and undisturbed night's sleep for the whole family.

Coleman® patented Blackout Bedroom® technology, blocks 99% of light and helps to reduce the temperature inside the tent by up to 5°C during the day and conversely at night the temperature will increase by up to 1°C outside temperature. Multiple entrances make it easier to get in and out of the tent. The large and airy living area is pleasant to stay inside the tent and offers plenty of storage space. The extra-large shelter offers a pleasant space to relax and at the same time protects against rain and wind.

The outer tropico has a fire retardant treatment. Zipper stops guarantee access to the zippers at all times. The Tropico has a 4000mm water column resistant coating and of course taped seams and also an integrated waterproof liner. Tropico is also equipped with SPF 50 UV protection. Other nice extras such as a lowered entrance, high and low ventilation, and zippered window shading make your stay in the tent even more enjoyable.

UV Guard™ Sun Protection
Colemanthe ® UVGuard™ protective layer prevents the fabric from degrading due to harmful UV rays and at the same time protects the persons under the shelter from these rays. This protective effect has been confirmed by several independent laboratory tests. With UV Guard™ you are protected up to UV 50 and the life of the shelter fabric is also extended.

Temperature control
Keep your bedroom up to 5°C cooler during the day and 1°C warmer at night thanks to the patented Coleman® Blackout Bedroom® technology. The special treatment of the tent material helps to store the sun's energy on the surface of the tent and keep the tent at a comfortable temperature.

Fire retardant - safety first
All Coleman® shelters have a self-extinguishing finish. This treatment suppresses the burning of the fabric after the flame source has been removed, giving the possibility of escape in the event of a life-threatening situation.

WeatherTec™ - provides comfort and protection for your outdoor activities
The water column expresses the ability of the fabric to withstand water pressure without getting wet. If the tent has a listed water column of 3000mm, then this means that if we were to place a cylinder of water up to 3m high on the fabric of the tent, the fabric would withstand the pressure of the water up to that height, which would start to seep through. For example, the UK Ministry of Defence consider a fabric with a water column of 800mm to be waterproof. Outside of rain, there are many other influences affecting the properties of tents.
