Fenix The E18R is a rechargeable handheld LED flashlight with short-term extreme output up to 750 lumens (ANSI). This model uses a Cree XP-L HI diode as the light source. With a length of less than 60 millimetres and a weight of 52 grams (including the battery), it can be carried with you at all times - in your pocket, on your keys or in your handbag. It can be recharged with the RCR123A rechargeable Li-ion battery, which can be charged in the lamp using the magnetic connector from any USB source (e.g. computer, powerbank, smartphone charger). A disposable CR123A battery can also be used in an emergency.High quality design, durability and waterproofness are a matter of course. The luminaire is equipped with a removable two-way clamp and the end cap is equipped with a magnet. A unique innovation is the special collimator, which creates a light cone with a surprising range of 136 meters. The collimator is made with technology used in the automotive industry and its height is less than 3 millimeters, which is less than half that of commonly used optics. The flashlight is predestined to serve as an ideal little reliable companion that is always at hand. You will always be happy with this handy little dragon. All luminaire parameters (luminous flux, battery runtime, waterproofness, range, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Use

• To switch on or off, hold the side button for about 0.5 seconds.
• The power modes can be switched at any time during operation by pressing the side button.
• To switch to flash mode, hold the side button for about 1 second.
• The control button can be locked to prevent spontaneous switching on, e.g. when transporting in luggage - press the control button twice quickly (within 0.5 seconds).
• To unlock, press the button twice quickly again.
• You can also prevent unintentional switching on by loosening the lamp head by about a quarter turn.
• Overheating protection - due to the miniature size of the luminaire and the huge output in 750 lumens mode, the operation of the turbo mode is time-limited. After about 30 seconds, the luminaire starts to reduce its output in small steps and after about 2 minutes it settles down to a luminous flux of 250 lumens.

Charging

• Plug the charging cable into the USB connector of your computer, USB mains adapter or car.
• When the cable is connected, the indicator light on the cable turns green.
• Attach the cable to the charging surface on the lamp, it will attach itself with magnets.
• The indicator light on the cable flashes green while charging, and stays green when charging is complete.
• Battery indication - when the luminaire is switched off, a short press of the side button activates the indication LED in the side button of the luminaire for three seconds. If the indicator LED is green, the battery is more than 85% charged. Green flashing indicates 50-85% capacity. If it glows red, it is 25-50% charged. Red flashing means that less than 25% of the battery capacity remains.
• Low battery warning (only functional when using li-ion RCR123A) - the flashlight automatically switches to the lowest mode and the indicator LED in the button starts flashing red.
