Product description

The Fenix BC15R rechargeable bike light delivers up to 400 lumens (ANSI) with a range of up to 78 meters. Power is supplied by a built-in 2600 mAh Li-ion battery, which is charged via the USB-C connector directly in the flashlight. The light source is a modern Luminus SST-20 diode. The luminaire uses a specially shaped reflector that directs light only forward and sideways, not upwards. The light cone is therefore sharply cut from above and does not dazzle oncoming drivers or pedestrians. The bike light Fenix BC15R is therefore particularly suitable for use on roads and cycle paths.

The bracket design allows for quick mounting and removal of the light to the handlebars without tools, plus the bracket allows for quick removal of the light so it can also be used as a powerful handheld light. The holder can also be used on aero shaped handlebars - the rubber sleeve adapts.

All luminaire parameters (luminous flux, battery life, watertightness, and range) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Using the bike light Fenix BC15R:

To switch on or off, hold down the button on the lamp for about 0.5 seconds. The power modes can be switched at any time during operation at the touch of a button (cyclically switched in the sequence low - medium - high). Flashing can be activated with two quick button presses. Another press returns the lamp to the previous mode.

Battery capacity indication in the button - with the flashlight off, press the button once briefly, then the indication LED (logo in the button) lights up for three seconds to indicate the battery charge status: Constant green: 100-85% capacity. Flashing green: 85-50% of capacity. Constant red: 50-25% of capacity. Flashing red: below 25% battery capacity.

Low battery warning - if the battery capacity drops below the set level, the luminaire automatically switches to lower power modes to ensure the longest possible battery life (the luminaire cannot be switched to higher modes afterwards). If the battery is critically low, the indicator LED in the button will flash red. In this case, we recommend charging the lamp as soon as possible to prevent the protective electronics built into the battery from switching off and thus causing the light to go out.

Charging:

• Unclip the rubber cap of the USB-C connector on the bottom of the lamp and plug it into a computer, mains USB adapter or car USB adapter with the included USB cable. Alternatively, any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector can be used for charging.
• During charging, the indicator LED is red and switches to green when fully charged.
• Charging time is about 2 hours. The Li-ion battery used does not suffer from memory effect, so the flashlight can be recharged at any time.
• During charging, the flashlight can be used in an emergency, only the low 50 lumen mode is available. However, the charging time will be extended.
• After charging and removing the power cable, be sure to seal the USB-C connector cover.

Warning:

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the luminaire head yourself, this will violate the warranty.
• If the flashlight flashes or does not light up, then it means that the battery is dead. Charge him.
