Product description

Rechargeable headlamp Fenix HM65R-DT - dark purple features a lightweight magnesium alloy construction, high water and drop resistance, unique dual reflector design and a total output of up to 1500 lumens. The reflectors produce well-focused light beams. One with a colder white light of approx. 6500K (daylight white) and the other with a warm white light of approx. 3000K. The luminous flux of the main reflector is up to 1300 lumens, the second reflector offers a maximum output of 400 lumens. The control of both LEDs is independent of each other, the light from both reflectors can be freely combined to achieve a luminous flux of up to 1500 lumens (when both reflectors are switched on at the same time, their max. output is 1150 + 350 lumens). Both lamps offer three light modes. One 18650 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 3400 mAh is used for power, which is included in the package and is charged via a modern USB-C connector directly in the headlamp. In case of emergency, the headlamp can also be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries.

The headlamp is made of magnesium alloy, which is one third lighter than aluminium. Its design is fully dustproof and waterproof to a depth of 2 meters according to IP68 standard and also shockproof against drops from a height of 2 meters. Like other trail headlamp models Fenix, the HM65R-DT features a wide strap with Sport Fit System with one rotary wheel for easy strap length adjustment. On your head, you can quickly and comfortably tighten the headlamp with one hand. The strap is also perforated and fitted with reflective elements that ensure good passive visibility. Thanks to its lighter weight and construction, the headlamp is especially interesting for trail running. It is also suitable for other sports activities (hiking, climbing, camping, cross-country skiing, fishing...). Guaranteed to serve you great in any situation! All headlamp parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofness, range, and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Parameters of rechargeable headlamp Fenix HM65R-DT:
- The light sources are LED Luminus SST-40 (6500 K) and Luminus SST-20 (3000 K) both with a lifetime of 50000 hours of illumination.
- Main spotlight: 1300 lumens (4 hours) -> 400 lumens (12 hours) -> 130 lumens (24 hours)
- Secondary reflector: 400 lumens (12 hours) -> 130 lumens (24 hours) -> 5 lumens (300 hours).
- The main reflector produces a light cone with a range of 170 metres (7167 cd), the secondary reflector shines up to 92 metres (2103 cd).
- The headlamp comes with a rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 3400mAh.
- Any rechargeable Li-ion battery Fenix 18650 from our range can be purchased as a replacement battery.
- Alternatively, two disposable CR123A lithium batteries can be used for power (do not try to recharge them in the headlamp).
- Due to mechanical protection against reverse polarity, the batteries must have the plus pole exposed. Older batteries Fenix with a flat plus pole can therefore not be used.
- Digital power control, battery charge indication.
- With prolonged use of individual light modes, the headlamp gradually reduces power in small increments to achieve longer light duration.

Using the headlamp Fenix HM65R-DT:
There may be an insulating cap on the battery from the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use. The main reflector is switched on by holding down the right button (approx. 0.5s), the warm tint reflector is switched on by holding down the left button (0.5s). The headlamp always switches to the lowest power mode. The light functions are switched by briefly pressing the corresponding button. Both spotlights can be switched on at the same time. Battery charge indication - When any button is pressed briefly (the headlamp must be switched off), the LED battery charge indicator between the buttons is activated. Four lit LEDs mean the battery is 80-100% charged, three lit 60-80%, two lit 40-60%, one lit 20-40%, and one blinking LED means the battery is less than 20% charged. The control buttons can be locked to prevent spontaneous switching on, e.g. when transporting in luggage - in the off state, press either or both buttons and hold for min. 3 seconds, then the headlamp flashes to indicate locking. To unlock, you need to hold both buttons for three seconds. Overheating protection: if the temperature of the headlamp exceeds 65°C, it will automatically start to reduce the power in gradual steps until the temperature is stabilized. Once the temperature drops below 65°C, it is possible to switch back to higher power modes. Low battery warning: when the voltage drops below a certain threshold, it automatically switches to a lower power mode, if the battery status indicator starts flashing while the light is on, the battery is almost dead.

Charging:
Unclip the USB-C connector cap and plug in the included charging cable, then plug the other end of the cable into your computer, power bank or USB mains or car adapter (not included). During charging, status LEDs show the charging progress. When charging is complete, all four light up. It takes about 3 hours to charge a fully discharged battery. During charging, the headlamp can only be used in low main or warm reflector mode. Using the rotary wheel to adjust the length of the head strap: To tighten the strap, press the wheel and turn it clockwise. To loosen the strap, pull the wheel and loosen the strap.

Notice
- Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will violate the warranty.
- Use only high quality Li-ion 18650 batteries, if using disposable CR123A batteries, do not try to charge them in the headlamp.
- If the headlamp is flickering, not switching to higher power modes, or not lighting up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is dead - charge it or replace it.
- The contacts inside the headlamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
- Warranty of five years for the headlamp and two years for the battery.
