Product description

The Fenix HM65R-T V2.0 rechargeable headlamp features a lightweight magnesium alloy construction, high water and drop resistance, a unique dual reflector design and up to 1600 lumens of light output. The reflectors produce well-focused light beams that shine far and near at the same time. The main reflector shines with a cool white light of approx. 6500K (daylight white) and the secondary reflector shines with a warm white light with a tint of approx. 3000K (the cones cannot be combined, however). The warm light penetrates fog, rain and falling snow better, so you can use it especially in bad weather conditions.

The main reflector offers 3 lighting modes, of which the maximum luminous flux is 1600 lumens, the second reflector offers a maximum output of 800 lumens and can be selected from four lighting modes. The headlamp also has an SOS mode and a whistle integrated on the strap for crisis situations. One 18650 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 3400 mAh is used for power, which is included in the package and is charged via a modern USB-C connector directly in the headlamp. In case of emergency, the headlamp can also be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries.

Like other trail headlamps Fenix, the HM65R-T V2.0 is equipped with a wide strap with Sport Fit System, i.e. with a wheel for easy strap length adjustment. On the head, the headlamp can be quickly and comfortably loosened and tightened with one hand. The strap is also perforated and supplemented with reflective elements that ensure good visibility of the user and passive safety. Compared to the first generation HM65R-T, the new model is equipped with cut-outs for quick strap removal, so the headlamp can be easily used on sports, work and tactical helmets using the Fenix ALG-03 and ALG-04 holders. Thanks to its lighter weight and lightweight construction, the headlamp is particularly interesting for trail running, cycling and skiing. But it is also suitable for other sports activities (hiking, climbing, camping, fishing...). Guaranteed to serve you great in any situation!

• The light sources are LED Luminus SST-40 (6500 K) and OSRAM GW PUSTA1.PM (3000 K) both with a lifetime of 50000 hours of illumination.

Using the headlamp Fenix HM65R-T V2.0
There may be an insulating cap on the battery from the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use.

The main reflector is switched on by holding down the right button (approx. 0.5s), the warm tint reflector is switched on by holding down the left button (0.5s). The headlamp always switches to the lowest power mode. The light functions are switched by briefly pressing the corresponding button. Both spotlights cannot be switched on at the same time but can be switched between them by pressing the corresponding button. SOS mode is activated by holding down any switch for at least 1.2 seconds.

Indication of the battery charge status - after a short press of any button (the headlamp must be switched off), the LED indicator of the battery charge status between the buttons is activated. Four lit LEDs mean the battery is 80-100% charged, three lit 60-80%, two lit 40-60%, one lit 20-40% and one flashing LED means the battery is less than 20% charged.

The control buttons can be locked to prevent spontaneous switching on, e.g. when transporting in luggage - in the off state, press both buttons and hold for min. 3 seconds, then the headlamp flashes to indicate locking. To unlock, you need to hold both buttons again for three seconds.

Overheating protection - if the temperature of the headlamp exceeds 60°C, it will automatically start to reduce the power in gradual steps until the temperature stabilizes. Once the temperature drops below 60°C, it is possible to switch back to higher power modes.

Low battery warning - when the voltage drops below a certain threshold, it automatically switches to a lower power mode, if the battery status indicator starts flashing while the light is on, the battery is almost dead.

Charging - remove the USB-C connector cover and plug in the included charging cable, plug the other end of the cable into a computer, power bank or USB mains or car adapter (not included). During charging, status LEDs show the charging progress. When charging is complete, all four light up. It takes about 3 hours to charge a fully discharged battery. During charging, the headlamp can only be used in low main or secondary reflector mode.

Use the dial to adjust the length of the head strap - turn the dial counterclockwise to tighten the strap. To loosen the strap, turn the wheel clockwise. Another turn of the wheel after the strap has been loosened as far as it will go, the strap will start to tighten again and the direction of loosening and tightening will be reversed.

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will violate the warranty.
• Use only high quality Li-ion 18650 batteries, if using disposable CR123A batteries, do not try to charge them in the headlamp.
• If the headlamp is flickering, not switching to higher power modes, or not lighting up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
• The battery is dead - charge it or replace it.
• The contacts inside the headlamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

Warranty of five years for the headlamp and two years for the battery.
