Headlamp Fenix HP25R V2.0

Product description

Parameters of the headlamp Fenix HP25R V2.0:

The light source in the main reflector is a white LED Luminus SST-40, the source in the wide reflector is a Cree XP-G3 S4 with a neutral light tint and there is also a red LED Everlight 2835. All with a lifetime of 50000 h of illumination.
A total of ten power modes:
Remote spotlight: 1600 lumens (2 hours*) -> 1000 lumens (4 hours*) -> 400 lumens (8 hours) -> 150 lumens (24 hours) -> 50 lumens (56 hours).
Wide reflector: 400 lumens (8 hours) -> 150 lumens (24 hours) -> 5 lumens (400 hours).
Red light: 5 lumens (400 hours) -> red SOS signal 5 lumens (800 hours).
Remote reflector for a perfect light cone with a range of 290 metres (20849 cd).
Wide spotlight with a range of up to 50 metres (605 cd).
* Prolonged use of the two highest light modes may cause the headlamp to overheat and activate the Intelligent Overheat Protection function, which automatically reduces power.
It uses a 21700 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh (included). Alternatively, an 18650 Li-ion battery can be used for power, but an ALF-18 reducer must be purchased.
Charging via USB-C connector, the charging time of a fully discharged battery is about 4 hours.
The switches are protected against unwanted switching on in the luggage.
The battery is housed in a separate case at the nape of the neck, so the headlamp is well balanced on the head.
The reflector can be tilted in several steps to set the desired direction of light.
Made of durable plastic and aerospace hardened aluminium.
Shock-resistant to falls from a height of 2 metres.
Headlamp dimensions including holders: 6 cm x 4,7 cm x 3,3 cm.
Dimensions of the battery case: 9.9 cm x 4.1 cm x 3.95 cm.
Weight 238 grams (including straps and battery).
Waterproof and dustproof to IP66 standard (spraying with strong jets of water from all directions).
Tempered ultra clear glass lens with anti-reflective surface for distance reflector.
Included in the package is a headlamp, USB-C charging cable, Li-ion battery 21700 with a capacity of 5000 mAh, four clips Fenix ALD-02 for attaching the headlamp to the helmet, spare o-rings, cable clips.
The headlamp can be purchased with a case Fenix APB-30 and a set of black straps AFH-02 without reflective elements.
Using the HP25R V2.0 headlamp
There may be an insulating cap on the battery from the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use.

The main beam is switched on by holding down the right button (approx. 0.5s), the wide beam or red light is switched on by holding down the left button (0.5s). Pressing the right button cycles through the main reflector modes in the order of 50, 150, 400, 1000, 1600 lumens. Pressing the left button toggles the wide reflector and red light modes in the order: white 5, 150, 400 lumens, red 5 lumens, SOS signal. Both reflectors are switched off by holding the corresponding button and after switching off the headlamp remembers the last set mode. Both spotlights can be switched on at the same time.

Battery charge indication - When any button is pressed briefly (the headlamp must be switched off), the LED battery charge indicator between the buttons is activated. If the green light is on, it means the battery is 85-100% charged, if the green light is flashing, it means the battery is 50-85% charged. If the red light comes on, the battery is 25-50% charged and if it starts flashing, the battery level is critical and the headlamp is less than 25% charged.

The control buttons can be locked to prevent spontaneous switching on, e.g. when transporting in luggage - in the off state, press both buttons and hold them for min 3 seconds, then the headlamp will flash red to indicate locking. To unlock, both buttons must be held down again for three seconds.

Overheating protection: if the temperature of the headlamp exceeds 60°C, it will automatically start to reduce the power in gradual steps until the temperature is stabilized. As soon as the temperature drops below 60°C the output will gradually increase again.

Low battery warning: the headlamp gradually reduces the number of available power modes automatically. With fully discharged batteries, only the single lowest mode will be available. If the battery status indicator starts flashing while the light is on, the battery is almost dead.

Charging: Unclip the USB-C connector cap on the battery case and plug in the included charging cable, plug the other end of the cable into a computer, power bank or USB mains adapter or USB car adapter (not included). During charging, the LED on the battery case is red. After a full charge, the light will remain green. It takes about 4 hours to charge a fully discharged battery.

Warning:
Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will violate the warranty.
Use only high quality Li-ion batteries for power supply.
If the headlamp is flickering, not switching to higher power modes, or not lighting up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
The batteries are almost dead - replace them or recharge the battery.
The contacts in the battery holder are dirty - clean them with a cotton bud dipped in alcohol.
Warranty:
Warranty five years on the headlamp, two years on the battery.
