Ultra lightweight and compact, the Petzl Ride is an ice axe that you can carry with you at all times on your ski touring trips, freeride or glacier crossing without being bothered by its weight.

Highly technical:
- The forged steel head provides the same quality as a classic pick
- The tip thickness tapers to 3 mm and makes it easier to penetrate the ice
- Shaped handle with grip mouldings guarantee great handling
Very light weight: 240 g
Compact: length only 45 cm and blind end of the handle with a hole for a carabiner for belaying from the shield:
- Reduces the risk of injury when the axe is clipped to the pack
- Can be stowed in a backpack for added precaution without risk of damaging the backpack
Material: tip hardened steel, handle 7075 aluminium
The PICK and SPIKE protective covers and the LINKIN loop can be used on the axe
