The ballistic nylon upper reduces the risk of mechanical damage to the shoe and injury to the foot to zero. The rubberized toe cap and the follower around the circumference of the shoe also help to increase durability. The sewn-in tongue prevents dirt from penetrating inside. The stabilizing cradle leading from the laces to the cushioning layer firmly fixes the foot in difficult terrain even at high speed.

The fit is available in narrow (precision, 95 mm in UK 8) and wide (wide, 105 mm in UK 8) variants. You're looking at the narrow Precision variant right now. Especially with the narrow cut, there is an anatomically widened space around the thumb for a natural bounce.

The POWERFLOW LITE lightweight foam midsole offers more cushioning in the heel and is stiffer in the forefoot for better rebound management. Compared to the SPEED variant, the MUDTALON's cushioning layer together with the drop is higher to make it comfortable over longer distances or for heavier runners. The drop here is 6 millimetres.

The midsole is complemented by a flexible META PLATE reinforcement to protect against punctures from sharp stones. All this without losing the flexibility of the shoe.
