Ski mountaineering belts Kohla Basic Mixmohair 120 mm 22/23 are the obvious choice if you need reliable belts that are long lasting, have excellent "ride" characteristics and hold well on frozen snow even in spring firn. They are ideal for those who want to get up the hill quickly and enjoy the ride down. They need belts to hold them securely when they climb and not use up all their strength when the belts slip. A comfortable ascent is aided by fibre impregnation that prevents snow from sticking to the bands, so you're not dragging your snow slippers around like a weight on your feet, and a membrane that doesn't let moisture get into the glue and that holds firm even in variable conditions throughout the season.
For the ski belt to adhere reliably to the chute, it is important that both the chute and the adhesive layer are dry. If moisture from the snow gets on the glue, it stops working, peels off, freezes and doesn't stick. For this reason, Kohla uses a membrane in skialp strips to prevent moisture from the fibers from penetrating into the adhesive. You will enjoy your ski tour without worries because the glue holds firmly, does not get wet and works great even in spring firn on wet snow.
For the least amount of unnecessary effort, you need the belts to glide smoothly and hold firmly when loaded. If the snow is wet, snow can stick to the wet tracks and there's nothing more annoying than having to drag half a kilo of snow slippers on your feet. The belts will stop slipping and you may get quite exhausted. With Kohla belts you don't have to worry about slippers because the fibres are impregnated at the factory.
- also suitable for extreme cold - reliably holds even in -30 °C
- you won't get snow under it
- retains excellent adhesion even at the edges of the chute

- after active seasons, you can easily replace the glue
