Product description
ZAG Ubac 89 22/23 ski mountaineering skis are designed primarily for free terrain and long ski mountaineering tours. They are one of the few skis on the market that are certified by the mountain guides in Chamonix. These skis offer the best ratio between uphill and downhill, they are simply versatile skis. The basis of the whole ski is a light wooden core Pawlonia with a distinctive rocker on the tip for better lift in deep snow. For better stiffness, the skis are wrapped in carbon laminate. For a better and more stable ride on the edge, the core is shaped with a double radius and five contact points for each edge, so you can lean into the curve with full power on any terrain. The skis don't just wobble (vibrate) when you go fast, and CAP construction has been used on the tip and tail to eliminate this. The Sidewall with ABS sidewall is inserted under the binding for easier stepping and quick initiation of the arc. The hard and fast synthetic snow chute can handle any kind of snow.
