Standing height tent with A-shaped pole structure - attachable to the Midgard tent.
The 5.6 m² Vimur offers great versatility; standing height for adults and plenty of space. Thanks to the A-frame's bar construction, the bars are subtle and barely visible. The complete comb rod is installed between two patented Turtle Hubs for added strength. All bars are made of high quality steel. The 5.6 m² Vimur tent comfortably accommodates 4 people. Double doors at one end offer either complete protection or selective air and light flow through a functional mosquito net. In addition, the door is equipped with a hidden extension that can be unfolded as an additional apse. At the opposite end, the Vimur is designed with a Nordisk signature window that doubles as a door. The interior is equipped with multiple pockets and two side windows.

The story behind the name
In Norse mythology, the Vimur is the largest of the Nordic rivers that originated at the beginning of the world. The river Vimur is mentioned in the story of Thor and Geirrod. Thor needed to cross the river Vimur on his way to Geirrod's dwelling. The power of the river threatened to sweep Thor away.
