True to the values of the 'Colour my Adventure' range, the Ydun Tech Mini tent (the smaller brother of the Cotton Ydun tent) packs much smaller and is considerably lighter than its big brother, yet is spacious enough for two people. Like the Asgard Tech Mini, the Ydun Tech Mini incorporates brand new features, such as the Nordisk Turtle HubTM and the Nordisk Technical Hybrid fabric concept, along with classic designs. The Ydun Tech Mini Backpack has two doors that can be expanded with a hidden door panel to create two small vestibules for your gear. It has excellent ventilation thanks to lockable mesh doors and mesh windows that are fully operable from inside the tent. The biggest feature of the Ydun Tech Mini tent is its new pole layout; two lightweight aluminium poles form two A-frames - one above each entrance - ensuring full and unrestricted access to the tent without the more common but obstructive centre pole.

The story behind the name
Eternal youth

Ydun or Iðunn is the goddess of youth in Norse mythology. She is the wife of the skaldic god Bragi, who is the son of Odin, and is the guardian of the magic apples that grant eternal youth - not least the gods of Valhalla. The name Iðunn means "eternally young", "rejuvenating" or "rejuvenating" and is sometimes translated as Idun, Idunn or Ithun - sometimes with the suffix -a to indicate femininity as Iduna and Idunna.
