Hiking boots Salewa WS Wildfire Edge Mid GTX - java blue/onyx, which rightfully deserved a gold award at the ISPO AWARD 2019. The innovative Switchfit lacing system brings a previously unseen combination of a precision climbing shoe and exceptional walking comfort. Very easily, by simply tightening the laces, you can adapt the shoe to the current terrain you are moving in. To further increase stability on climbing passages, the shoe features semi-rigid reinforcement under the toes, while the rest of the midsole remains flexible to ensure maximum comfort.

The shoe uses technology known from the original Wildfire model. The versatile POMOCA Speed MTN outsole, with excellent grip and traction, features a climbing zone at the toe and an aggressive tread pattern to hold up on mud and soft terrain. Torsional stability is provided by the Exa Shell construction, which together with the patented 3F system provides excellent ankle support and stability. Inside the shoe, the GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining is both waterproof and fully breathable. The Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) insole provides excellent cushioning and sweat wicking to keep the foot dry and free from overheating. For greater protection against snow and debris, a stretch protector is available.
