The 2022/2023 season comes with major improvements that increase the strength and variability of this skitouring binding.

• Model designed for lighter persons or ladies with DIN 3-7
• The front tip has now been completely redesigned, using a new Hi-tech plastic with a touch of carbon to increase strength and durability
• New pins open/close laterally i.e. sideways and do not rotate around a fixed point
• Possibility to adjust the size of the binding in the range of 25 mm
• Fritschi has kept its model range relatively narrow compared to other brands and concentrated on improving its technology, resulting in the new Xenic model, which offers users various innovations in safety, user comfort and ride control.
• The heel of the Xenic binding combines light weight and safety features that were previously only available in heavier ski touring bindings. The heel platform is wide and offers optimum power transfer to the ski for great downhill performance. The lateral release force can be adjusted to DIN values from 3 to 7 by means of a screw on the back of the binding. The precision of the adjustable vertical switching force is ensured by individually free-rotating pins (advantage over U-shaped pins) from DIN force 3 to 7.
• Switching between pedaling mode and skiing is easy and comfortable with the pivoting heel. The heel of the Xenic bindings can be easily rotated 180° with the flip-up heel support, giving you more leverage. The heel can deflect up to 13mm before shutting off to prevent unwanted shut-off from bumps and vibrations while driving. Also, when flexing the ski, where the distance between the tip and tail shortens, the tail can move up to 10 mm, preventing shutdown at critical moments and eliminating binding damage. Among other things, this technology guarantees excellent driving characteristics.
